DC Ramban assesses arrangements for pilgrims at Yatri Niwas Chanderkote
RAMBAN, JULY 02: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary visited Yatri Niwas Chanderkote here today and interacted with the Yatries staying there. The DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varunjeet Singh Charak; ACD, Shrinath Suman and other concerned officers.
The Deputy Commissioner also took stock of facilities from Camp Director, S. J P Singh available for the Yatries. The Camp Director apprised the DC about facilities being provided to the Yatries staying in the well equipped Yatri Niwas including Health services, drinking water, sanitation, langer management and security arrangements.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Health camp set up by the Health department to facilitate the Yatries. He passed directives to the Doctors to provide quality and timely health services to the patients.
Interacting with the Yatries, the Deputy Commissioner enquired about the facilities available and service delivery at Yatri Niwas in all aspects.
Appreciating the Government for making unprecedented arrangements for devotees of Shri Amaranth Ji Yatra, 2024, the Yatries thanked the Deputy Commissioner for making extraordinary arrangements and services provided by the District Administration.
Later, the Deputy Commission also reviewed the security arrangements put in place by the JKP and other security agencies. He also wished the Yatries a safe and smooth spiritual journey.
