DC Ramban chairs DLIMC meeting to review computerization of PACS

 RAMBAN, July 14: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today convened the maiden meeting of the District Level Implementation and Monitoring Committee (DLIMC) here in his office chamber to review the functioning and computerization of “Primary Agriculture Credit Societies” (PACS) in the district.

Among others, the meeting was attended by ADDC, ACR, CAO, CAHO, DRCS, AD Fisheries, DDM NABARD and other members of the District Cooperative Development Committee (DCDC).   

The Deputy Commissioner, who is also the chairman of the committee,    had threadbare discussions regarding identification of Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACSs) and thier computerization under the Centrally Sponsored Project for Computerization of Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACSs).

 In addition to this, deliberations were also made to operate PACS as Jan Aushadi Kendras, PMKSKs, and Common Services Centre etc.  

Meanwhile, the DC directed concerned officers to work hard on all Primary Agriculture Credit Societies of the districts to revive them. He emphasized that these schemes will be a game changer for the Cooperative movement & will contribute towards realizing the vision of Sehkar se Samridhi. He instructed all the line departments to work in coordination as per extant norms and guidelines.

The DC further exhorted the officers to impart proper training to the members of existing societies under the scheme of Computerization for PACs.
