DC Ramban directs authorities to expedite work on Ramban’s 4-laning project on NH-44

RAMBAN 2 Aug: In a significant move to take infrastructure a notch higher, DC Ramban Mussarat Islam in conjunction with SSP Traffic National Highway, Ramban Rohit Baksotra & PD NHAI PIU Ramban visited the 4-laning project Jammu-Srinagar NH at Mehar Ramban and took stock of the development work.

Mussarat Islam directed the authorities to maintain existing roads for smooth and hassle-free traffic movement and generate momentum in the work. It is learnt that the 4-laning project is assumed to reduce the distances, ensure smooth vehicular movement and gradually increase the tourist footfall to particular locations.

As per the reports, the 60-km-road 4-laning project is assumed to be completed by December of this year.
