DC Ramban flags off students tour to Verinag

RAMBAN, June 15:  Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today flagged off a group of 100 students of different Government High and Higher Secondary Schools of Ramban  district for an Education Trip to Verinag.

 The tour was organized   under Rashtriya  Avishkar Abhiyan (RRA) of   Smaghra.

During the tour   students shall visit Government Degree College Doru, Anantnag and   interact with the students there.

Speaking at the occasion, the DC stressed upon the students to make best use of an exposure tour. He advised the students to avail the opportunity by taking best out of this tour as they will be visiting places of historical importance, rich heritage and culture.

He asked the education department to ensure such tours in future also so that students get knowledge and exposure in various fields.

Dy. CEO, Principal GHSS, Ramban, ZEO   and other concerned functionaries were present on the occasion.
