DC Ramban reviews arrangements for JKSSB Exam
RAMBAN, JANUARY 18: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary today chaired a meeting of senior officers to finalize the preparations for JKSSB’s OMR based written examination for the recruitment of Accounts Assistants, Finance Department scheduled to be held on January 28, 2024 in the district.
During the meeting, it was informed that around 1050 candidates are expected to appear in the written examination at 7 centres in the District.
For the smooth, free and fair conduct of examinations, Magistrates, Observers, Superintendents and other officials shall be deployed in the district, the meeting was informed.
Deliberations in the meeting were focused on role, responsibility and coordination among the officials, arrangement of basic facilities, elaborate security arrangements, logistics for transportation, safekeeping of examination materials and efficient traffic management.
Addressing the meeting, the DC said that fair and transparent exams are the top most priority of the district administration, saying that adequate arrangements shall be put in place in this regard.
Directing the ARTO for ensuring proper parking of vehicles near examination centres, the DC also called for ensuring availability of public transport for convenience of aspirants.
The Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban, Mohita Sharma informed that the police department shall ensure adequate deployment of Police personnel for escort of examination material and security of examination centres.
Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner Ramban, Rajinder Sharma, PO ICDS, Jahangir Hashmi, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal Sharma, Dy. DEO, Lal Chand, Principal, GDC Ramban, Archana Koul, CEO, Dev Anand and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
