DC Ramban reviews relief cases of Road accident victims

RAMBAN, April 17:  Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mussarat Islam today chaired a meeting of concerned Committee members to review the cases of Road Accident Victims here in his office chamber.

During the meeting all the road accident cases were discussed in detail.

The Deputy Commissioner directed ARTO Ramban to compile a database of all accident victims to provide relief /assistance to families of the deceased and to the injured as per extant rule.

Earlier, ARTO Ramban informed about the initiatives taken by  the department to curb the menace of over speeding, over charging, wrong parking, drunken driving, under age driving etc on National Highway and various link roads.

The meeting was also attended by Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Gias-Ul-Haq, CPO Dr. Kasturi Lal, Dy. SP Pardeep Kumar, ARTO Samrinder Singh and other officers.
