Calls for Technological Up-gradation to improve Facilities
REASI, DECEMBER 07: District Development Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Mahajan, who is also vice chairperson of Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board, presided over discussions with members of the Board wherein emphasis was laid on best practices and technology up-gradation for the devotees.
The Executive Officer presented a comprehensive overview of the board’s ongoing activities and achievements through a detailed PowerPoint presentation.
The meeting focused on different aspects of the Board’s functioning, emphasizing its commitment to improve shrine facilities and provide a seamless experience to the devotees.
DDC Vishesh Mahajan expressed satisfaction over the accomplishments of the Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board, encouraging collaborative efforts to maintain high-quality services for pilgrims. He commended the dedication of board members and urged them to take innovative measures for future development.
During the meeting, DDC Mahajan stressed the significance of adopting modern technologies to enrich the pilgrimage experience. He proposed switching over to online registration to expedite the process and enhance the organized management of pilgrim data.
Emphasizing transparency and accountability, DDC Mahajan introduced a robust system assigning unique identification numbers to each Pony Vala and Pithu Vala. This measure aims to efficiently monitor their activities, ensuring adherence to the highest service standards.
Key attendees included Joint Director Planning Sunita Kanchan, Executive Officer Pardeep Kumar, and Xen PHE and PWD representatives. The meeting served as a platform to review progress, address challenges, and outline future endeavors for the Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board.
