DC Reasi presides Block Diwas meeting at Panchayat Dehote Block Pouni

Inspects progress of work on JJM projects  

REASI, June 14: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal conducted Public grievances redressal Camp under weekly block Diwas at Panchayat  Dehote, Block Pouni to assess the local issues and listen to the issues of the people at their doorstep and redress the same with the intervention of district  officers and representatives of Panchayat Institutions.

The PRIs raised the issue of damaged Ransoo Khul and the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned department for its early restoration. Issue of   construction of approach road to bridge in Dehote  Panchayat, posting of doctor and installation of Ultrasound & X-Ray machine at PHC Ransoo, posting of staff in NTPHC Dheote  were also raised by the PRIs and general public. Demand regarding early start of work of Water Supply Scheme Ransoo sanctioned and allotted for 300 households was also projected.

The issues regarding Road from Ransoo to Kanda were also highlighted and the DC directed the executing agency to start repair and restoration of the road. Issue regarding incomplete boundary wall and old structure of the Government High school Dehote was also projected during the block Diwas and on spot directions were issued to the execution agency complete the boundary wall as projected under DDC Grant, while the Executive Engineer, PWD(R&B) was asked to furnish a report on the condition of the old structure. Demand of Mobile toilets at Ransoo, provision of water tankers on a weekly basis for Sangar area and  release of pending land compensation were also projected during the block Diwas.

Earlier, the DC also inspected ongoing works of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) schemes in far-flung Panchayat Allya and Dehote of Pouni Tehsil bordering Rajouri District. The scheme envisages retrofitting and Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme Allya FHTC 157 & Retrofitting and Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme Theru Sujanpur FHTC 480. The DC directed the executing agencies to expedite the completion of the work.
