DC reviews implementation of Agriculture, allied sectors schemes at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MAY 29: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya today reviewed the implementation of different schemes in Agriculture and allied sectors meant for   strengthening of farmers/ peasants here at a meeting held in the Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex.

While reviewing the sector wise performance, the DC asked officers of agriculture and allied departments to create awareness among the masses about the different income generating schemes by organizing camps in rural areas.  The DC asked the officers to rejuvenate their efforts to achieve  optimum results on the ground so that benefits of development percolate down to the masses at grassroots level. He said that public participation is imperative for the implementation of government schemes so that benefits of schemes reach genuine beneficiaries.                               

The DC asked the officers to put in their dedicated efforts in accelerating the tempo of developmental activities pertaining to their departments to achieve the targets in a time bound manner.

Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral, Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr Ranjeet Kotwal and other senior officers of various departments attended the meeting.
