DC reviews pace of progress on JJM Water Supply Schemes in Rajouri
RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 21: To ensure access to clean drinking water in rural areas, 293 Water Supply Schemes are being executed in Rajouri District under Flagship Jal Jeevan Mission.
Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to evaluate the progress of the on-going schemes.
With an unwavering commitment to the success of the mission, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of high-quality work, timely completion of projects, and effective supervision to ensure the mission’s goals are met. The meeting shed light on the remarkable progress made in Rajouri with the work well underway on 240 schemes against the total 293 approved projects.
To expedite the completion of the schemes, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to adopt a result-driven approach and adhere to set timelines for completion of each project. With focused efforts and dedicated work, the mission is fast becoming a reality, promising to deliver a healthier and happier life for the region’s populace.
Overall the meeting was a constructive platform for officers to share their experiences, exchange ideas, and find solutions to the challenges facing the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission. The Deputy Commissioner directed them to continue working with dedication and commitment to achieve the mission’s objectives.
