DC reviews preparedness for launch of PMVKSY scheme in Rajouri District
RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 16: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, led a comprehensive review of the arrangements for the imminent launch of the prestigious “PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana” in the district.
This visionary scheme, introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Independence Day, is set to empower traditional artisans with crucial financial support, marking a significant stride in preserving and nurturing India’s rich cultural heritage of traditional craftsmanship.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal stressed the importance of thorough planning and flawless execution to ensure that the benefits of the Vishwakarma Yojana reach every eligible artisan in Rajouri district. He underscored the necessity for a streamlined application process, transparent fund distribution, and robust monitoring mechanisms to track the progress of the scheme effectively.
