DC reviews status of Aadhaar Enrollment in Rajouri district
RAJOURI, April 11: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the status of Aadhaar enrollment and the progress achieved so far in the district. Sanjeev Mahajan, Director UIDAI Chandigarh also attended the meeting through video conference.
In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner sought a detailed report on all aspects of Aadhaar enrollment with main focus on enrollment of the 0 to 5 year age group. The meeting was apprised that 58.01 percent achievement has been recorded regarding Aadhaar enrollment of 0 to 05 years age group. Similarly, the DC also reviewed the progress achieved under Aadhaar enrollment in other age groups including 05 to 18 years and 18 years above.
The Director UIDAI Chandigarh, Sanjeev Mahajan also provided valuable suggestions to the concerned stakeholders for achieving hundred percent Aadhaar enrollment in the district. He urged the officers to work with added zeal to achieve the desired results at the earliest.
While addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, underscored the importance of effective implementation and maximum Aadhaar enrollment in the district.
He also reiterated the commitment of the district administration to ensure enrollment of all citizens to enable them to avail benefits of different schemes. He directed the officers to actively monitor the process for efficiency, accuracy and full saturation.
