DC Samba discusses Implementation of Govt Schemes with District Development Council
SAMBA, May 13: District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Keshav Dutt Sharma today welcomed the new Deputy Commissioner of Samba, Abhishek Sharma, in a special meeting held here today in the DC office.
The meeting provided the Council members an opportunity to discuss various issues related to the development of the district and to chart out a plan of action to address the same.
During the meeting, DC Abhishek Sharma expressed his commitment to work closely with the DDC members to implement various government schemes and ensure speedy completion of all projects across different sectors. He reiterated that the district administration is committed to promote sustainable development and addressing the needs of the people of Samba.
The DC also urged the DDC members to raise any concerns related to their respective areas. He emphasized the importance of effective communication and collaboration among the stakeholders for the progress of the district.
DDC Chairman Keshav Dutt Sharma expressed his confidence in the administration’s efforts towards a better future for the people of Samba. He lauded the DC’s proactive approach towards addressing the challenges facing the district and emphasized the need for continued efforts towards sustainable development.
The meeting was an important step towards promoting effective collaboration between the Council and district administration for the progress of the district. The DC and DDC members discussed various issues related to road connectivity, healthcare, education, agriculture, and other sectors, and deliberated on ways to overcome the challenges.
