DC Samba spearheads Block Diwas outreach program at Vijaypur

SAMBA, JANUARY 3: The District Administration Samba orchestrated a Block Diwas at Vijaypur Block HQ, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma.

ADDC, Rajinder Singh; SDM Vijaypur Rajesh Sharma and BDO Vijaypur Abhilove Mahajan, along with other district officers and PRI members were present on the occasion.

At the same time, PRI members availed themselves of the opportunity to express their grievances.

Notably, DC Abhishek Sharma conscientiously tackled concerns raised in previous Block Diwas, emphasizing the overarching goal of achieving Nasha Mukt status. Swift resolutions were deftly achieved for issues related to electricity, water, and road connectivity, showcasing the administration’s proactive approach.

In his address to the gathering, the distinguished DC Samba stated that the Block Diwas initiative aims to establish direct contact with the people, attentively listen to their grievances, and effectively resolve them in a coordinated and efficient manner. He stressed the importance of prioritizing these grievances and ensuring their redressal within specified timelines.

The District Administration earnestly called upon PRI members and officers from diverse departments to collaborate in collective endeavors for community improvement. In conclusion, DC Samba personally visited various locations within the Block, employing a hands-on approach to comprehend and address local issues.
