DC Samba visits Purmandal Block to listen’s to people’s grievances

SAMBA, JANUARY 11: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba today conducted an extensive visit to the Purmandal block, engaged with the locals and addressed their concerns through public Grievances Redressal camp. The initiative aimed to bring governance closer to the people by understanding their needs and resolving issues on the spot.


During the visit, the DC also inspected the Devika River and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers for its development. Highlighting the pilgrimage value of the river, the DC assured effective action towards its maintenance and cleanliness.


DC also emphasised the preservation of the temples of Purmandal as sites of cultural heritage and reiterated the administration’s commitment to its development and upkeep as key pilgrimage destinations.


He said that, the administration is committed to the holistic development of the Purmandal block, ensuring that infrastructure development and heritage conservation go hand in hand with addressing public concerns.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Samba, ACR Samba, ACD, CEO, XENs and other district officers were present.
