DC Srinagar tours Khonmoh Block; inspects PHC to oversee availability of healthcare facilities

Takes spot visit to site for development of Playground Zewan

 SRINAGAR FEBRUARY 06: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Tuesday under took a visit to Khonmoh Block of the District.

Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Yaseen Lone, Zonal Medical Officer Batmaloo, Dr Sameena, District Health officer, Dr Asifa and other concerned Officers accompanied the DC during his tour.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner  inspected Primary Health Centre (PHC) Khonmoh in order to take stock of its functioning and healthcare facilities being provided to the patients. 

 The DC inspected various units of the Health Centre including General Ward, Drug Store, Registration Counter, Diagnostic Units, X-ray room and other units. 

The DC was apprised about the functioning of the Health Centre and the facilities being provided to the visiting patients.

 On the occasion, the DC held interaction with the Medical and Paramedical Staff and directed them to ensure better healthcare facilities for the patients. He also asked them to take necessary measures at the facility to maintain cleanliness and hygienic environment in and around the PHC.

The DC also assured the management that all necessary support shall be provided to the PHC so that local people do not face any difficulty for emergency patient care. 

During the visit, the DC also met the local people and held a detailed interaction with them. 

The people demanded for further strengthening the Health facility. The DC gave a patient hearing to the people and assured that all possible measures will be taken to provide better patient care facilities to local residents. 

Earlier, the DC  visited proposed site for Development of Playground in the area for local youth.

While interacting with the local people at the site the DC assured them that Administration will take every possible measure to provide better Sports facilities to the youth.

 The DC issued on the spot directions for development of the playground to ensure local youth are provided better sports facilities in the area.
