DC, SSP Rajouri visit border village Rajdhani to address people’s concerns
RAJOURI, June 17: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, along with Senior Superintendent of Police, Amar Jeet Singh, visited the border village of Rajdhani in block Manjakote today to listen to the public issues. The purpose of their visit was to address the concerns of the residents living in the border areas and to assure them of early redressal of their genuine issues.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner listened to the public issues of the village and assured the residents that their genuine concerns would be redressed in a time-bound manner. The major issues raised by the residents were the sanctioning of additional border bunkers, PHC, scarcity of water, dilapidated condition of PS Lamibari etc.
While speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner urged the public to work side by side with the district administration for the development of the district. He assured the residents that the District Administration is committed to providing all the basic facilities to the border residents so that they do not face any inconveniences and assured them that their concerns would be addressed on a priority basis.
The Senior Superintendent of Police, Amar Jeet Singh, also emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order in the border areas. He assured the residents of the full support of the police department in addressing their concerns and maintaining peace and harmony in the area.
Among the others, the SDPO Manjakote, Zaffar Rather and Tehsildar Manjakote, Javaid Chowdhary, also accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during his visit.
