DC Udhampur discusses awareness activity plan with stakeholder departments

 UDHAMPUR, JUNE 22: To discuss the arrangements and activity plan for International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit trafficking, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of officers of stakeholder departments here in the Mini Conference Hall of DC Office Complex.

  The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia; Additional SP, Anwar -Ul-Haq; District Social Welfare Officer, Kanika Gupta; ETO, Rupali Vaid; CMO, Dr Anil Manhas and other officers, while SDMs, BDOs and College Principals attended the meeting through virtual mode.

 The SDMs, BDOs and Tehsildars were directed to organize awareness programme in every block with active participation of PRI members and other stakeholders. The Chief Education Officer was asked to designate Nodal officers in all Higher Secondary schools for organizing awareness activities, while College Principals were asked to provide full support to make the awareness programme a grand success. 

 The DC stressed upon the officers of the stakeholder departments to work in close coordination to make the function a grand success.
