DC Udhampur holds consultation with stakeholders in Education sector
UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 18: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya today held a detailed consultations with the stakeholders regarding the 3rd Chief Secretaries Conference for promoting Ease of Living through Good Governance and Use of Technology in Schools with a focus on access to individual beneficiary schemes and ensuring quality of service delivery”.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar, Chief Education Officer, Geetu Bangotra, besides Principals of Private and Govt Schools, Assistant Director Planning,all Zonal Education Officers, Representatives of K.V,JNV, JK BOSE including some parents.
In the meeting different underlying themes were discussed in detail with the aim to identify the problems pertaining to the issues related to good governance in schools like ease of Issuance of Transfer certificates, Migration certificates, quality infrastructure in Schools, Digi Locker system, Implementation of online mechanism etc.
During the meeting, suggestions were sought from all the participants to make the process simple and easy to facilitate the students and parents to avail the benefit of such services. The DC directed the Heads of different schools to ensure that the whole process related to various services is completed within three days.
The Chief Education officer appraised the DC that different quality initiatives have been introduced in the schools of Udhampur district like ICT labs, Smart classrooms, Solar panels etc for the welfare of students.
