DC Udhampur reviews action plan for ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ Campaign

UDHAMPUR, AUGUST-07:- To discuss the action plan for effective implementation of “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign in the district, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today chaired a meeting of stakeholder departments here in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia, SDM, Ramnagar, Shishir Gupta, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral, Chief Planning Officer, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar and other officers including SDMs, Tehsildars and BDOs attended the said meeting.

ACD Udhampur, Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal gave a detailed presentation about various  activities to be carried out during the “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign and role of different departments  in the said campaign.

Deputy Commissioner directed all the officers to conduct various activities as per the guidelines regarding Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign, which is scheduled to commence from August, 9th 2023, in which a series of activities are to be conducted at Panchayat/ward/Block/District level.

He exhorted to work in a coordinated manner for the successful conduct of the campaign.

Concerned officers were directed to conduct the activities as per the   calendar issued by the office of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur. He urged officers to make necessary preparations well in advance and upload the activities on the designated webpage.  

The Deputy Commissioner further directed to ensure hoisting of National Flag, unveiling of Silaphalakam, Vasudha Vandan, Veeron ka Vandan as per the directions received in this regard from the GOI. The DC stressed for inter departmental coordination for successful implementation of the campaign.
