DC Udhampur reviews retrieval of Govt land in use of Defence

UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 28: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting to assess the status of retrieval of Government land presently under the use of the Defence, as per the court orders.

The meeting focused on reviewing the progress made so far and ensuring compliance with legal directives.
At the outset, Special Collector Defence Salam Din provided a detailed update on the current status of land cases and highlighted the challenges in executing the court orders.

During the discussion, DC Udhampur emphasized the importance of expediting the resolution of legal matters and maintaining strict adherence to court orders. She instructed the concerned officers to work in close coordination with Defence authorities to address any procedural gaps and remove obstacles in the retrieval process.
Additionally, the DC reviewed pending rent cases of land in use of Defence.
