DC Udhampur reviews working of Revenue department
UDHAMPUR, July 15: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya today chaired a meeting of officers and field functionaries of Revenue department here in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex to review the functioning of the department.
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar, Shishir Gupta; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral; SDM Chenani, Dudu and Basantgarh, all Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other field functionaries attended the meeting.
Threadbare discussions were held on the issues which inter alia included Digitization of Revenue Record, Quality check of updated Jamabandies and digitization of Mussavies, Recreation of Damaged Mussavies, Data entry of Back log Mutations, revenue court cases and remand cases, Status of eviction of state/kahcharai land, disposal of Relief cases under SDRF, implementation of Public Services Guarantee Act, Disposal of complaints/ grievances, building permission etc were reviewed in detail.
The DC directed the concerned Officers and officials to work in tandem with the rules and laws and deliver the services within stipulated time as prescribed in PSGA.
Expediting the process of quality check of revenue records to achieve the set target was also stressed upon. The DC asked the officers to conduct regular field visits and furnish the tour dairies to his office.
The SDMs and Tehsildars were directed to ensure disposal of the pending court cases within three months at the maximum. The Tehdildars were further directed to furnish the list of delinquent officials who are not serious in their duties and also those who are working honestly and with dedication for their appreciation.
Deputy Commissioner further impressed upon the SDMs and ACR to supervise all the developmental works besides the Revenue work.
