DCC/ DLRC meeting held at Bandipora
BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 27: The District Consultative Committee (DCC) and District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting for the quarter september-2023 was Wednesday held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Dr Owais in presence of Chairman District Development Council Bandipora Abdul Gani Bhat.
Sharing the details, Lead District Manager (LDM), Shameem Ahmad Haji informed that the district has achieved 101% CD ratio for the first time. He said that it was possible due to tireless efforts of all stakeholders, particularly banks which put up dedicated efforts while reaching the unemployed youth and needy people.
The LDM further informed that the district has achieved 144% growth in the MSME sector and 50% in housing sector under ACP 23-24.
At the outset, the DC appreciated the efforts of banks for massive enrolments under Social Security Schemes. He impressed upon different departments including agriculture, horticulture, sheep husbandry and others for 100% saturation of KCC schemes besides identifying and sponsoring the cases to banks.
The chair directed all banks to improve and enhance lending in the social sector, renewable energy sector and education sector in order to mobilize people involved in above sectors for investment in these sectors.
The DC directed all the banks operating in the district to clear the pendencies. The banks assured the chair that 100% achievement of various targets and zero pendency of cases will be achieved at the earliest.
Subsequently, the DDC Bandipora Abdul Gani Bhat, in presence of DC Bandipora Dr Owais and other concerned launched the Potential Linked Plan (PLP) for the Year 24-25.
Among others, ACR Bandipora Shabir Ahmad, district heads of line departments and banks, AGM RBI, DDM NABARAD besides other concerned attended the meeting.
