DCPU Kupwara Conduct plantation drive under Swachtta Action Plan

KUPWARA, March 14: District Child Protection Unit (DCPU)  Kupwara under Mission Vatsalya today held a plantation drive under Swachtta Action Plan in the child care institution (PALAASH) at Handwara in collaboration with Social Forestry Department, Kupwara.

The programme aimed at inculcation of cleanliness  among the children housed in the institution apart from the awareness regarding the importance of trees in balancing the ecosystem. 

The programme was attended by the Superintendent CCI (Palaash) Javaid Ahmad Malik, Range Forest Officer Handwara, Block Forest Officer Handwara, other employees of Mission Vatsalya and inmates of CCI Palaash Handwara.
