DDC B’la reviews progress of HADP, directs to ensure scheme benefits reach all eligible individuals

BARAMULLA, OCTOBER 19: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa today chaired a meeting at the DC office here to review the progress of Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) in the district.


At the outset, the DDC received a detailed briefing from officers/officials of various departments on the progress made and the targets achieved under the HADP.


It was informed that for the financial year 2024-25, more than 30,000 applications were received through Kissan Sathi Portal under various schemes run by individual departments, and 25,353 applications were approved by the District Level Committee after proper vetting process.


It was further informed that under the Daksh Kisan initiative, aimed at enhancing farmers’ skills, 7,926 registrations were received for various courses and out of these, 4,439 courses have been successfully completed, while 3,487 are still in progress.


Minga Sherpa, while emphasizing the importance of projects and schemes falling under the purview of HADP, directed the officers to meticulously plan and execute these projects to ensure that the set targets are achieved within the specified time frame.


The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Javaid Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Development, Shabir Ahmad Hakak, and officers from all the concerned departments.
