DDC Chairman inaugurates newly constructed additional block at GHSS Dradhu
DODA, OCTOBER 17: The much-anticipated 10-room additional block at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Dradhu was inaugurated today by Dhananter Singh Kotwal, Chairman District Development Council (DDC). The significant infrastructure project, aimed at enhancing educational facilities has been completed by the Public Works Department (PWD) at an approved cost of ₹1.20 crore.
The inauguration ceremony was held in presence of Harvinder Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Yudvir Singh Thakur, DDC West, and Sangeeta Bhagat, Vice Chairman DDC. Also in attendance were Ashok Kumar Sharma, Ex-Sarpanch and National Awardee, who contributed to the project’s success with his leadership and vision for educational growth in the region.
The construction of this additional accommodation at GHSS Dradhu is a step towards meeting the class room requirement of the growing student strength and improving the learning environment. The project reflects the administration’s commitment towards investing in educational infrastructure, ensuring that students in rural areas have access to better facilities and opportunities.
This initiative is expected to greatly benefit the local youth, providing enhanced classroom space and improved educational infrastructure, which will in turn contribute to the holistic development of the students.
