DDC Chairperson Kishtwar reviews estimation for Proposed Works under Capex Budget 2023-24
KISHTWAR, May 18: District Development Council, Chairperson Kishtwar, Pooja Thakur today chaired a meeting of the officers and officials of line departments to review the estimation process for the works proposed under the Area Development Plan, as part of the Capex budget for the fiscal year 2023-24.
The review meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Kishwar Sham Lal, ACP Kishtwar Zakir Hussain Wani, ACD Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal, ExEn ReW, PWD, PMGSY, PHE, JPDCL besides all BDOs, CMO Kishtwar, Panchayat Account Assistants, CIC operators, DDC members and other concerned stakeholders.
During the meeting, the progress made at the block level regarding the estimation of proposed works under the Area Development Plan was extensively reviewed and discussed and a series of directives were issued to the concerned authorities to accelerate the estimation process.
The DDC Chairperson said that the goal is to ensure that all proposed works are assessed and implemented without any technical encumbrances, guaranteeing optimal efficiency and transparency.
Moreover, the review meeting served as a platform for open dialogue, allowing for the discussion of various issues and grievances. Deliberations were made to find effective solutions and ensure that the developmental projects align with the needs and aspirations of the local community.
DDC Chairperson Pooja Thakur emphasized the importance of collaborative and collective efforts in successfully executing the proposed works under the Area Development Plan. She encouraged all stakeholders to work in synergy, leaving no stone unturned to ensure the timely completion of projects without compromising on quality or technical aspects.
