DDC Chairperson Ramban reviews progress under District Capex Plan 2024-25

RAMBAN, OCTOBER 30: Chairperson District Development Council (DDC) Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan on Wednesday convened a comprehensive review meeting here in the Conference Hall to assess developmental progress in the District under the District Capex Plan 2024-25.
The meeting was attended by DDC Vice-Chairperson Rabia Beig, DDC members, Additional District Development Commissioner Roshan Lal, ACD Srinath Suman, CPO Shakeeb Ahmed Rather, ACP Ashfaq Ahmed, and various sectoral officers.
The Chairperson evaluated the physical and financial milestones reached across projects under the District Development Plan and Capex Budget 2024-25. The DDC members raised key development priorities, including the need for improved healthcare, education infrastructure, new road construction, accelerated JJM scheme implementation, and enhanced power infrastructure.
The Chairpersons urged the officers to expedite these initiatives and address the issues raised by the DDC members to ensure timely project completion. Reviewing the status of other UT and Centrally Sponsored Schemes, she directed the officials to intensify their efforts to maximize public benefit. She emphasized the importance of achieving 100% progress in both physical and financial targets to meet the district’s developmental goals.
The ADDC emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts between administration and elected representatives, encouraging officers to work in synergy to achieve meaningful development outcomes for Ramban. He also directed the officers to expedite the pace of progress and adhere to the set timelines ensuring completion of ongoing projects so that necessary benefits are provided to the general public.
The CPO provided a presentation detailing the latest achievements in various departments. This collaborative approach reflects the commitment to deliver substantial developmental benefits to the residents of Ramban.
