DDC Chairperson Ramban visits Manjoos area to listen public issues

RAMBAN, AUGUST 08: Chairperson District Development Council (DDC) Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan, conducted an extensive visit to the Manjoos area to address the issues and concerns of the locals.


Accompanied by DDC Member Ramsoo Fayaz Naik, the Chairperson visited key locations in Manjoos, including the Medical Sub Centre, Middle School, JJM works and Road to Manjoos. The visit aimed to gain firsthand insight into the challenges faced by the residents.


During the visit, Dr. Shan actively engaged with the community, attentively listening to their concerns and addressing their grievances. This visit provided a platform for open dialogue and collaboration between the local authorities and the residents of Manjoos. By interacting directly with the people affected by these issues, she reiterated her commitment to understanding the ground realities and working towards effective solutions.


The Chairperson also participated in the inauguration of the Easy Business Unit (EBU) at the J&K Bank in Chachwah. By initiating the first transaction at the EBU, she symbolically inaugurated a new chapter of economic empowerment and financial inclusion for the local community.
