DDC Doda reviews achievements under Cooperative Sector
Pushes for initiatives with Focus on Eco-Green Tourism, Revenue generation activities
DODA, NOVEMBER 29: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda today convened a review meeting of the Cooperative Sector here in the Mini meeting hall of DC Office Complex. The meeting emphasised revenue generation activities and eco-green tourism in promoting sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by AD Employment, Deputy Registrar Co-operative Societies, AD Handloom and members of District Co-operative Societies.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders from different cooperative societies, government departments, and local entrepreneurs, all aiming to explore innovative strategies that align with the district’s vision of enhancing tourism while preserving its natural beauty.
The DDC emphasized the need for a coordinated approach among various departments to promote eco-green tourism and strengthen the cooperative sector.
During the discussions, the DDC highlighted the immense potential of eco-green tourism as a catalyst for economic growth and environmental conservation.
DDC directed the Cooperative Department to provide training and capacity-building programs for cooperative members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
