DDC Kishtwar chairs DLIC meeting to approve New Applications under Mission Youth Schemes
KISHTWAR, JULY 10: The District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav convened a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) to review applications under the Mission Youth Schemes likewise Mumkin, Tejaswini, and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative.
GM DIC Kishtwar Phulail Singh, DSWO Kishtwar, Zubair Ahmed, AD Employment Mamta Sundershan; ARTO Kishtwar, Saleem Manhas; Employment Officer Kishtwar, Vinod Shant; representatives from JK Bank; and JKEDI were present in the meeting.
The committee reviewed a total of 36 applications,12 for Mumkin, 12 for Tejaswini, and 12 for the Spurring Entrepreneurship initiative. All applications under Mumkin were approved, while 11 out of 12 applications under both Tejaswini and the Spurring Entrepreneurship initiative were approved.
DDC emphasized the significance of these initiatives in promoting youth empowerment and entrepreneurship within the district. He issued specific directions to streamline the application process and ensure the timely disbursement of funds. Furthermore, he urged the committee to identify and address any bottlenecks hindering the schemes’ implementation.
Additionally, DDC directed the establishment of a comprehensive monitoring mechanism to track the progress of approved cases, ensuring transparency and accountability in the utilization of the schemes’ resources.
