DDC Kupwara chairs DLIC meeting of HADP

KUPWARA, JULY 22: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting at Mini-Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex, here to review the progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP) and finalize the selection process of beneficiaries under HADP in the district.


The committee under the chairmanship of the DDC approved 4805 cases of agriculture and allied sectors.


The approved cases included 2400 cases of agriculture, 669 cases of Horticulture, 876 cases of Animal husbandry, 854 cases of Sheep Husbandry, 5 cases of Horticulture Planning and Marketing and 1 case of Fisheries department.


The DDC also took stock of the progress made under HADP under various sectors, meticulously examining advancements in key areas like Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries.


The DDC set a timeline of one week for achieving specific targets under HADP.


She said that effective collaboration is vital for ensuring proper planning, execution, and monitoring of HADP activities. She emphasized the primary goal of the program which is to empower local farmers by equipping them with knowledge and tools that can significantly enhance their productivity and profitability.


DLIC meeting was attended by ADDC Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat; GM, DIC Kupwara; Chief Agriculture Officer and District Officers of line departments.
