DDC member Ramban kick starts link road work

RAMBAN, JULY 03: District Development Council Member Ramban Renuka Katoch today kick started the construction work of a link road from Peerah to Kumati.

The road is sanctioned under the NABARD scheme at an estimated cost of Rs 3.62 cr and allotted at Rs 2.62 cr. She said that it was a long pending demand of the public of Khanni and Kumeti areas of Sawani Panchayat.

She further added that development of any area is directly dependent on the availability of road connectivity and expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Central Minister for Roads Transport and Highway Nitin Gadkari and Union MOS in PMO Dr Jatinder Singh for providing funds under central  schemes for ensuring rural connectivity.

AEE R&B, S.Satvir Singh, PRIs and a large number of inhabitants of the area were present on the occasion.
