DDC Poonch chairs Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting

Directs Hospital Administration to work with dedication to provide better patient care facilities 

POONCH, June 12: The District Development Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary visited the Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital Poonch to take stock of health care facilities and patient care provided by the institution.

During the visit, the DDC conducted a section-wise round of the hospital and inspected various wards and sections including emergency ward, Dialysis unit, laboratories, ICU wards, Operation threater, OPD and interacted with the patients.

 Later, he chaired a Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting which was attended by RKS members, Programme officer ICDS, Khalid Hussain Wafa, District Social Welfare Officer, Mohinder Paul, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Anees Altaf Nabi including EXN R&B, AEE PDD, EXN Jal Shakti, ADMO, and other concerned officers.

During the meeting, the Medical Superintendent, Dr Zulfqar Ahmed, presented a detailed powerpoint presentation and apprised the DDC about the functioning of the Hospital. 

 The Chairman, along with all the members, appreciated the hospital’s working and directed the Hospital Administration to work with more dedication to provide better patient care, including surgeries, dialysis, emergencies, chemotherapy services, mother and newborn care.

The Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting approved one Sevo for power backup and early starting of the hospital’s main gate erection work with the hospital boundary wall.

 All the members expressed satisfaction for the establishment of more than 50 beds in hospital infrastructure by the government under ERCP 2nd and phase-wise functioning of ICU services.

The District Development Commissioner, appreciated the hospital’s efforts towards patient care and urged all the members to work together to provide better healthcare facilities to the people.

The Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting also discussed various aspects related to the hospital and its functioning. 

The DDC issued directions to concerned officers to work with dedicated efforts to improve patient care in the District Hospital Poonch.
