DDC Rajouri reviews progress of RDD sector works
RAJOURI, January 19: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the performance of the Rural Development Department.
During the meeting, the DDC took a detailed review of the implementation of PMAY-G, Awas plus, ODF plus, development of Amrit Sarovars and status of aadhaar seeding under MGNREGA etc.
The meeting was informed that the work on 21699 PMAY houses and 1286 Awas plus houses have been completed in the district so far.
Similarly 101 Amrit Sarovars have been developed in different parts of the district to achieve the goal of water conservation.
Reviewing implementation of MGNREGA, the DC was informed that Adhar cards of 87 percent job card holders have been seeded with their accounts. DDC stressed on achieving hundred percent adhaar seeding under MGNREGA at the earliest and asked them to monitor progress in this regard on a daily basis. Similarly, the DC also reviewed the progress of other schemes being implemented by the department in the district.
Officers present in the meeting were Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Assistant Commissioner Development, Vijay Kumar and BDO Rajouri, Chander Kant Bhagat.
