DDC Rajouri reviews progress on construction of Anganwadi Centres
RAJOURI, May 18: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today reviewed the progress on construction of Anganwadi centres being constructed by the Integrated Child Development Services department in convergence with the Rural Development Department.
During the review meeting, the DDC reviewed the progress of the construction of Anganwadi centres. It was informed that out of 20 Anganwadi centres, the work on 12 Anganwadi centres is complete while the rest are near completion.
The DDC emphasized the need for timely completion of the construction work. He directed the officials to ensure that the construction work on the rest of the Anganwadi centres is completed within the stipulated time frame.
He also asked the concerned officers to complete these anganwadi centres at the earliest so that necessary benefits could be provided to the children with the completion of these centres.
Officers who attended the meeting were CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; ACD, Vijay Kumar and CDPOs.
