DDC Rajouri takes comprehensive review of achievements under RD Sector

RAJOURI, JULY 06: District Development Commissioner of Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today conducted a comprehensive review of achievements under the Rural Development (RD) sector in the district here at a meeting of the department.

The progress made in the execution of developmental works, including those under the district capex budget, PRI, DDC and BDC grants, PMAY and Awas Plus, besides construction of border bunkers and anganwadi centres etc was thoroughly reviewed b y the DC.

The DC emphasized the need to expedite the progress to ensure that the benefits of the government schemes and initiatives reach the grassroots level at the earliest.

He asked the RDD officials to ensure that the works are completed within the stipulated time frame and that the quality of the work is maintained at all levels. He also directed them to ensure that the benefits of the developmental works reach the intended beneficiaries in a transparent and accountable manner.

 Among others, CPO Mohammad Khurshid; ACD, Vijay Kumar; ACP, Sheraz Chowhan and BDOs attended the meeting.
