DDC Ramban chairs District Health Society meeting
RAMBAN, March 9: District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam, who is also Chairman District Health Society today reviewed the achievements and performance of the Department of Health especially under the National Health Mission (NHM).
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal, CMO, Dr. Kamal Zadoo, Executive Engineers of PWD, JPDCL, MS DH , DIO, BMOs and various other members of the District Health society attended the meeting.
The DDC also reviewed the working of the Dialysis Unit at District Hospital, functioning of Sub District Hospital, Banihal, CHC Batote, Ukhral and Gool, staff strength, equipment and infrastructure available with the department across the district.
CMO informed that 2393 women were given incentives under Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) with an amount of Rs. 33.45 lakh till February 2023. He informed that under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) 80173 beneficiaries under 0-18 years have been screened till February 2023.
He further informed that 11437 pregnant women were provided free diagnosis and treatment under JSSK in the district.
The DDC directed the CMO and all BMOs to conduct awareness camps and saturate all health department schemes. He further asked to ensure daily basis roster duty especially for night duties of doctors and paramedical staff and display in prominent places for the convenience of the general public.
He also directed the concerned officers to continue conducting Drugs De-addiction campaign across the district.
The CMO was directed to achieve 100 percent target of registration of golden cards to AYUSHMAN-BHARAT scheme beneficiaries. It was informed that under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB-PMJAY & SEHAT) a total 206350 beneficiaries were registered against the target of 259328.
He was informed that the patients have availed the benefit of PM Sehat Card scheme with cashless treatment upto above 2.48 crore in the district.
The DDC also reviewed the progress registration of identified people under the UDID registration. The DDC directed the concerned officers to identify the deserving beneficiaries to achieve 100% registration under this scheme.
The DDC directed the concerned departments to work in tandem to create awareness regarding the scheme so that needy and deserving beneficiaries get the benefits of the scheme.
Later, the DDC reviewed the arrangements for National Deworming day which will be observed on March 13.
