DDC Reasi flags off students for Educational Field Tour Under PM-SHRI Scheme
REASI, JANUARY 04: To enrich educational opportunities in the Reasi zone, District Development Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan, flagged off a group of students from Government High School Pattian on an educational field tour. This initiative is part of the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM-SHRI) scheme, introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Teachers Day, aiming to revolutionize education by providing immersive learning experiences.

The students will explore Bheem Ghar Fort, Rafting Point, Sula Park, and Katra, offering them real-world applications of their studies beyond classroom boundaries. The goal is to instill curiosity, critical thinking, and a thirst for knowledge among students, fostering holistic development.
DDC Mahajan highlighted the importance of initiatives like PM-SHRI, stating, “Education is the cornerstone of progress, and PM-SHRI empowers students to learn beyond textbooks, nurturing their holistic growth. This field tour is a testament to our commitment to providing comprehensive learning experiences to every student in Reasi.”
