Terminated TA for poor Performance
REASI, December 02: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Vishesh Mahajan conducted a comprehensive review of Rural Development Department (RDD) projects in Reasi District.
The focus was on different initiatives funded through the capex budget, PRI, BDC, DDC grants, and schemes like PMAY and AWAS Plus.
During the review, focus was laid on the progress achieved in tendering and allotment processes.
Strict directives were issued to Block Development Officers (BDOs) and the Executive Engineer, Rural Engineering Wing (XEN REW), to ensure timely project execution. In response to incomplete work, a decision was made to blacklist contractors failing to meet deadlines.
To enhance transparency, an online meeting with contractors was arranged by the Assistant Development Commissioner Reasi, focusing on detailed project progress assessment on the ground level.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the urgency of achieving 100% Aadhar seeding under MGNREGA for sustainable livelihood opportunities.
In a decisive move, DDC Mahajan terminated Technical Assistant Sahil Singh under MGNREGA, Block Arnas, owing to his persistent non-performance after thorough evaluation.
The meeting included the presence of ADDC Jyoti Slathia; Joint Director Planning, Sunita Kanchan; ACD Anirudh Rai; BDOs, and other concerned officers, highlighting a collaborative effort towards effective governance and project implementation in Reasi District.
