DDC Reasi reviews redressal of public grievances received on JKIGRAM
REASI, FEBRUARY 11: District Development Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Mahajan today chaired a meeting in the DC Office Complex to assess the resolution of grievances received through JKIGRAM Portal.
In the meeting, DDC Mahajan urged the departments to expedite the disposal of pending grievances with both speed and quality.
It was informed by the ADC Abdul Star that 2228 grievances have been registered on the portal, out of which 2172 have been disposed of till date.
Highlighting the LG Administration’s keen focus on addressing public issues promptly, DDC Mahajan directed officers to resolve all pending public grievances in a time bound manner.
Taking Department-wise reviews, the DDC Mahajan sought feedback to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the situation.
The DDC Mahajan noted that while most departments have one pending grievance, there were a few with a considerable pendency.
Emphasizing the urgency of the matter, all officers were instructed to accelerate the redressal process. He said that District Administration Reasi reaffirms its commitment to efficient governance and the timely resolution of citizen grievances.
