DDC reviews implementation of RDD sector schemes in Udhampur district
Directs Officers to ensure timely completion of ongoing Works
UDHAMPUR, October 7: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to assess the block-wise progress of ongoing developmental works and schemes of the Rural Development Department (RDD).
Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal, provided an overview of the block-wise progress of ongoing developmental projects and flagship RDD sector schemes in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner conducted a comprehensive review of the MGNREGA, PMAY-G, ADP, progress of Amrit Sarovars, SBM-G progress, details of estimates for CSC under SBM-G phase-II, block-wise material expenditure dashboard, work progress for the financial year 2023-24 and payments, among other aspects.
BDOs were instructed to ensure the timely implementation of all schemes with a special focus on quality and transparency in the execution. They were further directed to complete all ongoing projects within the stipulated timeframes and to expedite work progress to meet set targets. The importance of transparency and accountability was stressed upon. The officers were urged to work diligently to achieve the targets set for the current financial year, emphasizing the need for close monitoring to maintain work quality and adherence to timelines.
