DDC reviews progress under ABDP Plan for 2024-25

UDHAMPUR, JUNE 20: District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, convened a meeting with officers from various line departments to review the progress and achievements under the Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) for the year 2024-25. The review focused on the Dudu-Basantgarh and Moungri blocks.


The DC took detailed sector-wise review of activities carried out by the concerned departments in both blocks. The review covered various aspects including Agriculture and Allied Sectors, Health, Nutrition, Education, and Basic Infrastructure development.


DC urged officers to enhance their efficiency to improve key development indicators in the two blocks. She emphasized the adoption of best practices to achieve tangible results within a stipulated timeframe. Specific directives were issued to ensure 100% saturation in various banking schemes and to meet the 100% target for cattle vaccination.


CMO was instructed to take proactive steps to increase the number of institutional deliveries and to improve the sex ratio in the blocks. The SE Jal Shakti was tasked with ensuring that drinking water facilities are available in all schools that currently lack this essential service. Executive Engineer PDD was directed to provide electricity connections to all schools. PO Poshan was asked to ensure 100% coverage of registered pregnant women regularly receiving nutrition under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS).
