DDC Shopian reviews allotment of works under District Capex & PRI grants

Instructs for immediate completion of allotment & start of work process

SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 16: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today chaired a meeting of District and Sectoral officers at Mini-Secretariat Shopian to review the District Capex and PRI Grants for the year 2024- 25.

The concerned apprised that 299 works under District Capex and 1616 works under PRI grants shall be taken up during the current financial year for execution.

The DDC reviewed department-wise works with regards to preparation of estimates/ tendering/ allotment and execution under district capex 2024-25 and PRI grants.

Majority of the works have been tendered out and allotted.The work on many of the works is ongoing and shall be completed promptly, apprised concerned.

Other works shall be taken up for execution immediately and weekly progress be intimated to the DDC office, instructed DDC to all officers involved in the implementation.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz, District and Sectoral Officers were present in the meeting.
