DDC urges Officers to ensure success of campaign in Rajouri

RAJOURI, April 25: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a meeting to review the implementation of Kissan Sampark Abhiyan under the Holistic Agriculture Development Program in the district.

The meeting was informed that the program was successfully conducted on the 2nd day in 19 Panchayats of the district, with overwhelming participation of the farmers. It was further informed that the programme is being conducted at 259 locations.

The District Development Commissioner lauded the successful implementation of the Kissan Sampark Abhiyan and urged all officers to work with dedication to make it a successful campaign in the district. The Block Development Officers (BDOs) were directed to revisit the locations in their jurisdiction and report if the need to change locations arises. The stakeholders were also directed to provide all the necessary logistics for Kissan Sampark Abhiyan.

The District Development Commissioner also issued directions for the establishment of a district-level cell for coordinating the campaign. The cell will ensure effective implementation of the Kissan Sampark Abhiyan and facilitate the smooth functioning of the campaign.

He said the Kissan Sampark Abhiyan is an essential initiative under the Holistic Agriculture Development Program, aimed to provide a platform for farmers to interact with experts, exchange ideas and knowledge, and learn about new agricultural practices and schemes.

The District Development Commissioner has called upon all stakeholders, including farmers, government officials, and civil society, to work together to make this campaign a grand success.
