DE&CC organises Career Counselling workshop in ITI Ramban

RAMBAN, May 25:  District Employment and Counselling Centre Cum Modal Career Centre Ramban today organized a workshop in the Government Industrial Training Institute Ramban to educate ITI trainees about skill up-gradation and Self- Employment schemes.

Organised under the supervision of Assistant Director Employment,  Dr. Sushant Mahajan and  Principal ITI Parvez Bhat , a detailed demonstration regarding the registration of Job seekers on the JK Employment Portal was given to the trainees during the session. A description on Skill gap training by NCS portal was also discussed and the Final Year Students of different trades were facilitated with on the support Registration facility.

The guest speaker Er Lovepreet Singh, an Official from the Ministry of Labour and Employment Government of India, explained the benefits of registration and Job Seekers recognition by employers as per their skills and competencies. The ITI Principal hailed the success of the event and desired to have more such skill gap Workshops in the Institution  in collaboration  with DECC Ramban to benefit the  trainees.
