DECC Shopian Conducts Awareness Camp at Zainapora

SHOPIAN, AUGUST 02: In a significant move to empower the youth of Shopian, the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC) Shopian organized an awareness camp today in collaboration with the Revenue department at Shopian.

The primary objective of the camp was to inform the youth about various opportunities and support available through the Mission Youth schemes.

During the camp, officials from DECC Shopian provided detailed information about several key schemes, including Mumkin, Tejiswani, and the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative.

They emphasized the benefits these government schemes offer and encouraged the youth to take full advantage of them.

Additionally, a registration desk was set up by DECC Shopian to assist those interested in availing financial assistance, helping them with the necessary form-filling process.

Officers who addressed the gathering, urged the youth to enroll in government-run self-employment schemes.

The camp marked a proactive step towards fostering self-reliance and entrepreneurship among the youth of Shopian, reflecting the government’s commitment to supporting their aspirations and economic development.
