Defence Minister Rajnath Singh e-inaugurates Kargil-Domgil road

LEH, January 19: Hon’ble Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh virtually inaugurated the Dha Bridge, Hanu Gongma Bridge and 8 Km long Khaltse Batalik road today on January 19. Simultaneously, an inauguration ceremony was conducted by BRO-GREF at Khaltse.

The inauguration ceremony at Khaltse was graced by the presence of Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Leh, Minority, Ghulam Mehdi who presided as chief guest whereas Councillor Lamayuru Constituency, Dr. Murup Dorjay and Sub Divisional Magistrate Khaltse, Suhail Ahmad were guest of honour.

EC, Mehdi simultaneously inaugurated the 8 Km long road that connects the Khaltse sub-division to Batalik and two bridges constructed at village Dha and Hanu Gongma.

Other guests on the occasion were State President BJP, Phuntsog Stanzin, Commander (CDR) 16 BRTF, Lt. Col R.S Parmar, Dy. Commander, 118 BDE, Officer Commanding (OC) 81 RCC, Shiv Raman and OIC A.C Jha.
