DEO reviews progress of Special Summary Revision 2023 at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, May 04: District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur) Sachin Kumar Vaishya today reviewed the progress of ongoing Special Summary Revision 2023 process in the District here at a meeting of EROs and AEROs of all the 4 constituencies of the District.

Detailed discussions were held on various aspects regarding provisions and parameters of Special Summary Revision and the progress achieved in the district so far.

The DEO exhorted upon the EROs, AEROs, to complete the revision of special summary including addition of new voters/left out voters and deletion of duplicate voters before the assigned due date. The DEO asked the officers to activate men and machinery and complete the process of SSR 2023 within a given timeline.

Dy DEO was asked to submit a progress report on daily basis. The officers and officials associated with the SSR were emphasized to work with dedication and zeal to ensure that the whole exercise is completed within in a time bound manner with 100 percent enrolment of eligible voters and directed them to complete registration of eligible voters within stipulated time.

DEO further asserted that not a single eligible person should remained unregistered.
