Leh, Feb 18, 2024: A six- day science (practical base) capacity building for science teachers of middle school of Leh district in 2 batches from February 12 to February 17 concluded at DIET Leh on February 17.

Expert in Physics and Mentor Science Inspired Manak, Government of India, Dr. Munish Gulati emphasized that the teachers should remold themselves as a science, technology and engineering teachers instead of just science teacher, that is first teach science through demonstration, show application of concept on various technology and make students engineer concept with hand on designing products to address societal problems and move form definition and derivation to application.

The teachers expressed gratitude to learn pedagogical skills to update themselves in their teaching learning process.

Principal DIET Leh, Tsetan Dorjey delivered a vote of thanks and encouraged the teachers to further implement these skills in their respective schools.

Around 90 teachers attended the training.
